Starting from the Pinzgau family village Uttendorf / Weißsee, the Stubach Valley branches off towards the Salzburger Hohe Tauern. The 18 km long valley was made accessible via the toll-free panorama road with 13 hairpin bends and cable cars of the Weißsee Gletscherbahnen.
In the Rudolfshütte 90 cozy double and family rooms for 2 to 4 people await you, a camp with space for 11 people, all furnished in typical alpine style. The Steinbock Hut offers exceptional accommodation for groups (max. 22 people).
Discover the diverse events around the year and the sporty and family-friendly weekly program.
Enjoy high alpine hut flair in the house bar with an open fireplace, traditional Austrian cuisine in the restaurants, our Edelweiss SPA with saunas and the highest indoor swimming pool in Austria with a wonderful view of the surrounding three-thousanders and glaciers.

Vacation above the clouds in untouched nature
The unique location of the Berghotel Rudolfshütte is not only valuable for athletes as a high-altitude training camp, but also generally for strengthening the immune system.
In the middle of the Weißsee glacier world, nature itself offers a break for allergies from:
Pollen: Due to the altitude (2,315m above sea level) there is no pollen count at any time of the year at the Rudolfshütte.
House dust mites: House dust mites are not viable at this altitude.
Please inform us about any allergies or food intolerances when booking your room:
Food: Of course, our kitchen team will take any food allergies into account and will prepare tasty alternative menus for you.
Animal hair: We point out that animals are allowed in the house. In most cases, these are dogs that are also accommodated in special rooms.
Sustainable energy production
We make our contribution to Co2 reduction:
- Solar system: The solar system on the southern front of the Rudolfshütte generates 150,000 kWh per year and is used to heat the entire mountain hotel.
- Heating: The heating has been completely renewed and is powered by green electricity.
- Rubbish separation: At the Rudolfshütte, rubbish is separated very precisely and brought back down to the appropriate containers in the gondola.
- Biowaste: is processed into biogas.
- Sewage water: The Rudolfshütte is connected to the public sewage system.
- Facade: thermally insulated.
Please help to save resources too! Preserve our unique nature by using heating, electricity and water only for as long as you need, by avoiding rubbish or by throwing it into the appropriate collection bins.
